Description

Constructed of MIL-SPEC webbing and stainless steel hardware, this compact strap can be used in conjunction with our #214 (series) Quick Strops to provide support under a victims legs to effect a more horizontal recovery position. Some rescue units use a double-strop system in cases of suspected mild hypothermia, but at only .34 kilograms this device easily stows in your kit bag until needed. For use directly on the hoist hook or attached to the equipment hook on your Tri-Sar or Triton harness, the Hypo Strap is identical to the #214 crotch strap in form and function and just as compact, making it an option to carry or use when needed.

Limitations

Working Load Limit - 600 lbs.

Life Limit - on condition.
